I Dr. Ramandeep Singh, a Professor of Business Management at Punjab Agriculture University along with my team help in promoting the concepts of Progressive Farming and Agri Business in Punjab through digital marketing and social media. My main aim is to motivate the farmers to pursue the challenging path of agri-preneurship on a global level.
I along with my team have guided the farmers to develop new products and concepts that have greater acceptability amongst the consumers and in the process helped them to supplement their incomes and also forge linkages between the farmers, the agriculture supply chain and the consumers. These initiatives will contribute to the well-being of the farming community and also enable them to adopt best global practices for entering the global markets.
I along with my team at PAU provide a comprehensive product development service for the agricultural sector, offering pragmatic advice, designs and technical support all the way from research concept to market. Having several years of experience in research, development, and marketing of agricultural products, I strive to offer expert, impartial advice on any aspect of your product development. No project is too big or too small. I build and maintain close business relationships with all agripreneurs. Be it related to product pricing, packaging or even studying the consumer market in and out, I can help.
Several initiatives have been taken by me and my team to promote agricultural marketing across the nation and worldwide. Agricultural Marketing plays a pivotal role in fostering and sustaining the tempo of rural economic development. Marketing is as critical to better performance in agriculture as farming itself. I help farmers by offering them training on how to market their products and I also create awareness about the benefits of grading, marketing, value addition and processing the farmer’s produce through regulated markets. My main aim is to make a farmer of today self-sufficient and maximise his business by creating a regular income.
A farmer of today needs to know the importance of agri-business and realise the source of regular income that can be generated when they introduce their agricultural produce in the form of a product into the global market. With the help of my team at PAU, I want to help them in converting their unorganised agribusiness into organised business. My aim is to train the farmers to feed at a global level and become an entity in themselves.
I want to help the farmers across the nation, who are day in and day out serving our society efficiently, by creating a continuous supply line for them. My goal is to encourage the farmers to start creating/selling the end-products as opposed to selling the raw produce. My team and I seek a continuous parallel income for the agrarian society.
